Never a Dull Moment

Sometimes I feel like I have a fairly mundane existence being a stay at home mom - but then it dawns on me that there really is never a dull moment. A perfect example is right up there in that video. I knew I was going to try to make a funny baby nail clipping video because my method is just so awkward...but of course Paige just had to one up me and put the joke on me.

When there's never a dull moment it can be both exciting and exhausting. Lately, I can tell you it has been super exhausting with a few exciting moments sprinkled it. I have a weird love hate relationship with having too many things on my plate, and maybe you do too. But I think that's because we truly do thrive with a bit of chaos.

I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, but we have to remind ourselves to stop and take a breath from time to time. I had to do just that today. Step outside, breathe in some different air, feel the sun on your skin, listen to some new noises, get your blood pumping a little (I practiced a few handstands and it brought my mood up so quickly!).

For those of you that create your own chaos - embrace it, let it fuel you, let it break you, learn from it, and own it.
